HELO From IPANEMA is the girl who walked to Ipanema Beach inRio De Janeiro, Brazil and inspired Antonio Carlos Jobim to compose the world-famous song “GIRL FROM IPANEMA”. Phil met Helo while touring in Brazil with The Freddy Cole Trio, and stayed in contact with her. Phil subsequently co-wrote this new song “Helo from Ipanema” for her with Keith Williams.
